An Evening With Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah

I was honoured to have an audience with the honorable Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah yesterday (14 June 2006). It was such a pleasant memory with her. It was for a meeting asking for her support for the writing of two books about badminton. She was the nicest person alive to me. She even gave me and my bosses a private tour of the Perdana Leadership Foundation. Not only we had an evening tea with her after the meeting, she also took some pictures with us. Then she lead us into Tun Dr. Mahathir's office, and then out to his private balcony, overseeing the Putrajaya Lake. Afterwards its to the PLF Library, Auditorium and Banquet Hall. We met Tun Dr. Mahathir himself at the PLF Lobby, hurrying for his evening exercise, according to his wife. Before taking leave, Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah let us join her feeding the Kois at the PLF courtyard. I must be blessed I think. Spending 4 hours with her is sure a worthwhile experience.
